Press Brake

Press brake, also known as brake press or brake, is a device for bending sheet and plate material, and most commonly sheet metal. Press brake can be classified as manual press brake, hydraulic press brake, pneumatic press brake and CNC press brake. In terms of different processing materials, there are metal, stainless steel and aluminum press brakes, etc. According to the synchronization methods, hydraulic press brakes can be divided into press brakes with torsion spindle synchronization, those with mechanic-hydraulic synchronization and with electro-hydraulic synchronization. As per modes of motion, there are press brakes with upper moving and those with lower moving.

Features
1. It has steel-welded construction, with high strength and fine rigidity.
2. It is with hydraulic top-drive, which is steady and reliable.
3. The press brake maintains synchronization with steel torsion bar with high precision.
4. It features electrical control of back gauge and ram's stroke, and fine adjustment by hand wheel and numerical display.
5. Deflection compensation unit is installed on the top die. Manual crowned bottom die holder is adopted for the machines above 250 ton.
6. The press brake boast lead limit protection and full machine guarding by interlocker.

Instructions
1. Operators should strictly abide by safety operating rules, and accordingly keep armed with protective articles.
2. Check and ensure that motor, switch, line and grounding are normal and firm before starting the press brake. And then, ensure that operating parts and buttons are all in place.
3. Check the contact ratio and firmness of upper and lower moulds. Ensure positioning devices meet the requirement for processing.
4. Return to the starting point if the top slide and locating shafts are not at the original point.
5. Set the machine idly running for 1-2 minutes and top slide full stroke moving twice or three times. If anything wrong occurs, stop the machine immediately. Eliminate the faults and start operating before everything is normal again.
6. Operation of the machine should be commanded by a single person, with close cooperation between operating workers and feeding and pressing personnel. The commander is only allowed to give the signal for starting after all relevant workers are situated in safe places.
7. Ensure the plate material is pressed firm before bending it to avoid tilting, which may hurt the operators.
8. Power off when shifting and stamping the plate material. Start before the machine has stopped running.
9. No material is allowed to touch the lower mold when changing the opening of variable lower mold.
10. There should be no person behind the machine when it is working.
11. Bending plate material alone at one end of the machine is strictly prohibited.
