Ironworker was originally a brand name for a machine which can shear, notch, and punch holes in steel plate. The brand has now become a generic name for machines of this type. Ironworkers generate force through mechanical lever or hydraulic systems. They are thus called mechanical ironworker machine and hydraulic ironworker machine respectively.
Modern systems use hydraulic rams powered by a heavy AC electric motor. High strength carbon steel blades and dies of various shapes are used to work on the metal. The machine itself is made of very heavy steel to handle the enormous force that can be generated during use. Ironworkers are rated according to the force they can generate in tons; ratings usually start at 20 tons and go as high as 150 tons. Due to the reduction in the amount of man hours and effort needed to cut or punch steel sections, an ironworker machine is often an integral part of commercial manufacturing facilities and fabrication shops. They are easily re-tooled for various operations and can be operated by one person.
The ironworker machine is a famous brand metal-cutting machine. We have a full range of hydraulic ironworker machines that consists of five models from 50 ton up to 135 ton models. Each one of our powered machines has five fully integrated stations that functions through pure vertical motion at each station, thus increasing tooling life and stress of the machine. Most of other hydraulic ironworkers function through pivot mechanism, which decreases the life time of the tooling and the machine. With a shearing design, all our models of ironworker machines are enabled to leave no waste material, which is commonly existent in even some famous brands.
Our 50ton and 62 ton ironworker machines are with single station, while the 84, 95, and 135 models are dual station machines, which means two persons can work on the machine at the same time without any loss of tonnage in the specific stations being worked on. Most devices are included as in standard configuration. For example, we offer oversized tables with scales at each station, a set of seven punches, all shearing and notching features are integrated into the machine, and finally a heavy duty stop rod system is included for the shearing station.
To complement our quality hydraulic ironworker lineup, we have two models of ironworker machines. The first type of ironworker machine has the shearing function and comes integrated with the capability to shear bar, solid round or square, angle iron or mild steel plate. The second is for punching. This model comes normally with 8 different punches up to 5/8 inch round. Both models can bench our frame mounted and are ideal equipment to any small fabrication shop.
We are a manufacturer of ironworker machines in China. We primarily provide two categories of ironworker machines, including hydraulic ironworker machines and mechanical ironworker machines. In addition, we also produce hydraulic punching machines, hydraulic shearing machines, and more. All of these machines are CE certified and feature stable performance, environment-friendliness and energy-efficiency. Therefore, we have established a vast client base in many countries, such as the US, India, Singapore, Belgium, Australia and Iran, to name a few. We warmly welcome global buyers to try our machines. We are confident that you will be satisfied with your purchase.
